There are many ways to explore this year's theme, just unleash your imagination to showcase your favorite city, state, country, tourist attraction - you get the idea! The "TOP TEN " winners will receive a signature work of art "Poop" Trophy by local artist Ted Pullig - A gift certificate donated by the world famous Sisters Pet Pics, which includes a complete photo shoot with one photographic package - Winning photo posted on the Mardi Paws site for one year + more prizes TBA soon! All winners received Poop Trophy by renowned artist Ted Pullig Grand Champion In honor of our Saints' Super Bowl Victory - one winner will be chosen with the "Best Saints' Theme". The "GRAND CHAMPION" will win a $100 cash prize, A gift certificate donated by the world famous Sisters Pet Pics, which includes a complete photo shoot and choice of any two photographic packages - Winning photo posted on the Mardi Paws site for one year + more prizes TBA soon! People's Choice Award In response to public demand, we have added a People's Choice Award this year where parade participants and watchers can vote on their favorite group at parade's end. Be sure to look for the Zorro's Booth near the Gazebo area and cast your vote. The " PEOPLE'S CHOICE" Winner will receive a special People's Choice Trophy, A gift certificate donated by the world famous Sisters Pet Pics, which includes a complete photo shoot with one photographic package - Winning photo posted on the Mardi Paws site for one year + more prizes TBA soon! 2010 Contest Rules 1. No group is too large or too small to participate - but you must be a "paid" parade participant. 2. Everyone who wants to participate in the costume contest MUST HAVE their photo taken before the start of the parade!!! You do not have to purchase or pay for your photo if you don't choose to, but we are just using this as part of the judging procedure! 3. Your race number must be clearly visible for the photograph. 4. The first phase of judging will take place at the Reviewing Stand by the judges. If the distance to the Reviewing Stand is too far for you or your dog, don't worry, everyone's photograph will be reviewed and judged at a later date also. 5. WINNERS WILL NOT BE ANNOUNCED AT THE PARADE THIS YEAR! You do not need to stay around, or make it to the parade's end to win. All winners will be notified no later than two weeks after the parade, and their names/winning photos will be posted on-line also. 6. Pick up prizes at our Post-parade Pawty about 3 weeks after parade. Party details will be announced soon. Winners do not have to attend our Post-parade party to receive their prize, but it would be preferable. 7. Have a Heart thru Art volunteers and ROYAL HAIRS are excluded from the contest. 8.
